- (Opening Exposition) Also, if you're going to make me read exposition to open the movie, I should at least not come away from it more confused than before
- (BOOK ONE: WATER title appears) It's kind of cute how they thought they were going to make three of these things
- (Katara waterbends a water sphere) This ball of water shouldn't really be able to retain its size and shape if it's losing this much water
- (Katara drops the water sphere on Sokka) You're not seriously suggesting this completely dry dude was just doused by the ball of water, are you?
- (Katara talking to Sokka) Wait a minute, this movie's about white people?
- (Narration by Katara) Three minutes in and we are already have exposition by reading, and exposition by narration. Why are they even bothering to show us images at all?
- (Sokka and Katara with icy landscape behind them) The green screen effects would be outstanding if this was a student film
- (Sokka breaking the ice below him) This guy seems surprised the ice starts breaking after he hits it with his primitive hunting stick in an attempt to break it
- (Katara examines Aang and says he's exhausted) This little girl thinks she's a doctor
- (Aang changes clothes) I don't really have any personal need for the Avatar to be played by an Asian kid... I just kinda thought he was going to be
